SMGI®: What’s the difference?

With the wonderful proliferation of trauma-informed and parts-informed therapies available now, what’s different about SMGI®?

First, the relationship with your SMGI® Guide is completely unique, and likely different than anything you’ve experienced this lifetime - unless you’ve had the extraordinary experience of hiking Mount Everest with an expert Sherpa guide.

In fact, there are similarities.  As in the outer world, when setting out on a journey of exploration and discovery with a goal in mind, your guide isn’t your leader or boss, but is there to help you get the most out of your journey, pointing out things along the way while helping you complete the journey safely and successfully.

Your guide shows utmost respect to you, the journeyer, and recognizes it’s your journey, and your glory that he’s supporting. This is your SMGI® Guide’s role as you journey in your inner world - where the rules are different than the outer world - you can encounter dangerous crevasses and choose to float, fly or be carried, always able to get and stay safe.

Second, the initial interview process in the first session is a kind of eyes-open-hypnosis, or conversational hypnosis, where you experience how easy it is to access the material in your subconscious, potentiating the power of your ask.

This enjoyable and deeply connecting initial interview, helps you connect to the deeper desires within you, name them and claim them, so that all the resources available to you can be clear on what you intend to create, and set about working behind the scenes to support the manifestation of that.

Third, it’s a super simple, profoundly powerful way to journey into and through your inner terrain, experiencing beauty, meeting incredible inner allies, clearing away inner obstacles, and reuniting with your lost, scattered or hidden parts.

These parts of you, once reunited with you, become your most potent and powerful sources of inner strength, vitality, wisdom, ease, joy, and authentic expression. Leaving you more of you, and more full of your wondrous elements of unique beauty. And your trauma gets resolved in the most gentle and profound ways.

Lastly, one of the unique aspects of SMGI® is that your Inner Wisdom directs your journey, showing you what’s most helpful for you to connect to; and showing you what needs your attention. Your Inner Wisdom knows the remedy for what ails you, and what needs to happen for you to create the changes you’d like to create.
