How’s SMGI® Different Than Hypnotherapy?

SMGI® includes some of the best elements of hypnotherapy but in a very unique way. It leaves out a lot found in aspects of conventional hypnotherapy methods that feel challenging to the journeyer and activate natural resistance.

One way it’s different than conventional hypnotherapy is that, while most styles of hypnotherapy are directive, SMGI® is invitational and interactive.  In most hypnotherapy methods, the doctor-patient model is consciously or unconsciously enacted, wherein the onus is on the practitioner to know where to tell you where to go in your inner world.

In SMGI®, the model and experience is more like that of a Journeyer with a Sherpa.

In SMGI® your own inner wisdom guides your journey, while your SMGI® Guide supports you in following what comes. Your own inner wisdom knows exactly what, and in what order you need to, and are ready to, experience, so you can create the changes you desire.

Another way it’s different is that it requires and requests no relaxation.  You’re met where you’re at and your experience organically shifts in a way that’s most beneficial for you.  Sometimes relaxation will be a net effect, but it’s never required for you to connect to that in you which wants your attention.

SMGI® doesn’t require long - usually 20 minutes long - inductions to get you into a receptive state, but quickly, gently and easily helps you connect in 5 minutes or so.

The protocol is especially designed for highly sensitive, highly traumatized, high funtioning people, to be non-threatening and non-demanding. This makes it much easier for the journeyer to be receptive to what will help them transform their experience in life, and create from their soul.
